FOR ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONALS(TM) Audio CD-ROM and Cassette Tape Review
New digitally-recorded and masterfully narrated audio review is available for Parts I, II, and III (there are seven cassette tapes and ten audio CD-ROMs in the three-part program). There are four long-play audio cassettes (and four audio CD-ROMs) available for Part IV, Organizational Planning. A CPS Review "Sampler" audio cassette is also now available. Users of our cassette program have been thrilled with the content of
material included in the cassettes, its exam relevancy, and especially program ease of use. The new program is even better! Individuals can study while commuting to and from work, at their home or office (while doing other
things), and even along the jogging path! The opportunities are almost endless!

Product Overview
Part I (CPS and CAP Exams): Finance and Business Law For Administrative Professionals(TM):
ACCOUNTING: The fundamentals of the accountant's world are
explored in this module. Basic accounting theory is examined. The construction and use of
financial statements are considered. Emphasis is placed on theory, the accounting cycle,
mathematics of accounting, the proper recording of financial transactions, and analysis of financial
statements. Both managerial and financial accounting are discussed.
ECONOMICS: This module examines the basics of economics.
The financial system, national income, current economic problems, and international trade are key
areas studied.
BUSINESS LAW: This module deals with basic principles of
business law, including types of law, contracts, negotiable instruments, agency, regulation of
business and employment, government regulatory agencies, and property.
Part II (CPS and CAP Exams): Office Systems and Administration For Administrative Professionals(TM):
OFFICE TECHNOLOGY: Office Technology reviews concepts
of information processing; communication, records management, and reprographics technologies;
software and hardware integration; and ergonomics.
OFFICE ADMINISTRATION AND BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS: In this
module, areas of office administration and business communications are covered--including
written communications.
Part III (CPS and CAP Exams): Management For Administrative Professionals(TM)
BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE: Fundamental concepts relative to
understanding the individual/self, team dynamics, leadership dynamics, interpersonal
communication, and change are discussed in this module.
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT: This module reviews
issues concerning staffing; compensation and benefits; training and development; employee safety,
health, and stress; performance appraisals; employee/labor relations; grievances, discipline, and
counseling; and the employee separation process.
ORGANIZATIONS & MANAGEMENT: In this module, the
end-user is "walked" through principles, theories, and fields of management, including production
and marketing management.
Part IV (CAP Exam Only): Organizational Planning For Administrative Professionals(TM)
TEAM SKILLS: Essentials of team building and team leading are discussed at some length. Group problem solving and
conflict resolution are also covered from a strategy-based perspective. Conducting meetings is also reviewed.
STRATEGIC PLANNING: Strategic planning issues are covered including critical thinking and decision making, communicating mission
and values in organizations and resource allocation; in addition, overall strategic planning issues are discussed.
ADVANCED ADMINISTRATION: Topics covered include mentoring and training, conducting research, project coordination, and delegating
and empowering.
